Hi All,
Getting a voltage drop from 13.8 or so volts out of my charge controller when not connected to batteries or when connected to a spare stand alone batteries down to 1 volt when connected to my boat batteries.
Setup is 4x sun power solar panels wired series / parallel (2 together in series to make an array and then the two arrays in parallel) and a Victron mppt 100/30. 3 group 29 batteries wired in parallel.
I’ve tried disconnecting shore power to eliminate the shore power charger. I’ve switched controllers with a friend who has a similar setup and my controller works for him so it’s not that. Connections are all tight.
At a complete loss. Thinking it has to do with the batteries but not sure what to check at this point. Any ideas?
