I have tested individual panels at 32° full sun due south 90 degree weather and the panels by them selves are only producing 213 watts . I expected 350 watts .why are they not producing ?
I'm using 8g marine wire 25 ft.

Being that you're in Las Vegas, the hot temperatures are not helping.

How much load do you have?

They will perform better in series at a higher voltage but many variables to consider.

Yes you need a load, if your looking for a simple way to test and don't mind the cost of the tool, I recommend this. You can also search for other sellers, there are many, but you need the higher wattage unit.

Panels are on our property in north az
Highest temps are 90-96 degrees
Even if the outside temp is only 95° a panel will get much, much hotter. It's a black sheet in direct sun, temp is going to be closer to a fresh asphalt parking lot. Adding 20-25°C to ambient for full summer sun is a decent estimate, so that would be something like 60C/140f.

Datasheet lists output at NOMT as 302W.

Your solar irradiance also might be below the 1000Wh/m² they assume for STC. If you really want to check you can use the national solar radiation database. https://nsrdb.nrel.gov/

I see others have provided the response I would have given, the output from solar will vary with your load applied. Your charger is a load to the solar panels. :D

I based your location on your profile and wish I lived there !!!!
