Long story short, I am trying to top balance a group of cells. The issue is balancing 32 280ah cells with a pure top balance on a 10A PSU will take a few months. To speed it up I am using the method mentioned from the docs about charging in series until one cell hits 3.5-3.6V, then parallel for the final top balance.
Issue is, 1 cell hits 3.5V (others are around 3.375 - 3.379) quite a bit earlier than others due to me messing with it on its own before going into series. I am curious if there is a reasonable way I can discharge this down a bit to try and get them a bit closer before swapping to parallel charging...
Optional: Is it possible to remove that 1 cell (cell 16) from the series string and setup the overkill solar jbd bms as a 15s, then charge the others until one of those hits 3.5V? Then I could parallel once the other 15, which seems quite close in voltage, up close to it
