In another thread I was telling @45North about how everything grows like crazy here...and everything likes to eat it. Thought you might find it amusing...

I have a more amusing one from an earlier attempt, I'll post it if I can find it.

The first attempt was aluminum flashing stapled to the legs. Didn't realize how well they could jump.

This was the second attempt:

Ultimately it was deemed a failure, wife didn't like the sharp exposed edges.

The fifth trial is the first post, and ultimately we went with crop cages.

Too cold for iguanas up here.
We have to content ourselves with rabbits, slugs, spit bugs, lily beetles, etc.
But since I have mostly flowers and shrubs and very few veggies I'm not offering anyone a "salad bar". And I don't think anything likes rhubarb - too sour and the leaves are poisonous!
