I have ordered a power station (lifepo4) and it should arrive later this week, i assume it's in a truck right now.

it's going to be -15c (5f) to -30c (-22f) depending on where the truck is and when it is expected to be delivered, it should be -20c (-4f) or lower

i am curious about temperature, the delivery truck might not be heated and when it get delivered i might not be home to get it inside for a few hours (i will wait many hours up to a day before starting it up to be sure there is no condensation)

would that kind of low temperature affect/damage the power station in anyway?

IMHO, 8+ hours.

Nope. LFP electrolyte won't freeze above -60°C based on a quick google. You're correct with the condensation concern.

Next dumb question on a 300ah pack in my work trailer. My BMS doesn't cut out the charging right away, I have it set at 3*C .
the heat pads come on. And suck most of the charging from vehicle... so the battery will sometimes charge 1- 2 amps and the bms doesn't kick out the charging..till like 4 amps. I don't like it. And am thinking to put a delay on the heater.... what's your options...

I have a service truck that usually has my 24v mobile MPP 2724 in it, either with a sodium battery (good to about -15C) or a selfheating LFP battery.
in either case -the batteries are inside the shop at night - heated space. So the battery heat just maintains the temp not trying to heat it up from ice-cold temps.
Other than that - build an insulated box or use a cooler to reduce heat loss from the battery during use.

not really the cut off - the charging current needs to be reduced at lower temperatures above 0-degrees C. not like 100% charge rate is fine at 1-degree C and then "not fine" at 0-degrees C. Read the link in post #6.
