This weekend our fresh out of training college kids (aka Interns) will be putting together (49) 54V 330Ah LiFePO4 cells for me. I have (15) remote communication, camera, weather station, 18,500BTU A/C and Heater, 48V LED Stadium lights and a small operations cargo container that these will power 24/7 at (15) various locations.

Our primary Inverter/charger is the SOLARK-15 but we do have an additional small Outback that we hook to a 750W wind generator thats 40 foot in the air ...

Attached to the Solark-15 are (50) 390W Canadian Solar PVs producing up to 19,600 and just in case it all goes wrong - we have a 25kW diesel backup generator.

So far we have never had any of our generators kick on except when they go out and do maintenance checks.

EEL provides us with the vertical 54V (16) cell 330Ah boxes and batteries.

In the back distance by the rear doors you can see one of our poor interns sitting there just wondering how the hell does putting together (49) 54V 5280 Ah LiFePO4 batteries have anything to do with his Marketing / Sales degree. What is interesting is that by the time they finish they will all be very smart on our field monitoring systems - AND - they will learn to work as a team which we let them figure it out themselves. Plus its free labour for me. If you put together one of these batteries yourself it takes right at 1 hour 15 minutes ... that includes the unboxing of the Case and all of the batteries ...

By Monday they will have it down to about 20mins a battery IF they all divide up the work - some doing this - some doing that.

This is the second group of (15) cargo container Portable Power systems we have done in the last 6 months ...
