Installing 24 volt system checking my work as I go. DC side is not powering up after I had it working.

I'm installing 3600 watt 24 volt all in one inverter with 24 volt 200 amp battery. I mounted the inverter, battery and step down converter 24 to 12 volts and connected it to the 12 volt wire that was connected to the old 12 volt battery. Worked fine. Then I disconnected the 120 volt shore power side from the distribution box circuit breaker and connected it to the AC in on the inverter and then I connected the AC out back to the distribution box circuit breaker. Connected shore power turned on the inverter. The ac side working great. Here's where the issue might be. I removed the original 120 volt 12 volt Wafco charger/converter. The DC side is not getting power now however the step down converter is sending 12.4 volts. It seems like the power is not being distributed. Pulling the Wafco may have interrupted the circuit. Can't have that in there though, not into that loop/fire thing. Any ideas? I appreciate any help.

Hard to say without looking at your wiring. So all I can suggest is you start testing and isolating things so that you can find where the issue is created. Is your AIO charging the 24vDC battery? (you say the unit is connected to "AC in" from shore power.) What mode is the inverter operating in?

You say that your step down converter is outputting 12.4 volts. From its output at what point do you no longer have 12.4vDC? Any fuses that might be blown?

I haven't connected the battery to the inverter yet, so not charging, but the battery is charged and powering the step down. Haven't done the deep dive on where the power stops yet. That's next unless some says that when I removed the original converter-charger I interrupted the circuit and what that fix might be. Breaking out the schematic now.
