Hi everyone,

Up front I just want to say thanks to everyone for a great forum/community. It is truly a great place. I've been lurking for a while and building my own off grid system (I'll list specs below).

The purpose of the post is to poll some folks on their interest in an open source C/C++ application to read from AND send commands to the beloved JBD BMS and equivalents. I've found a few Arduino code bases and some hairy C++ ones, but would rather skip that and develop a common code base.

As an addition, if there is interest in a Wi-Fi connected BMS so that you don't have to be within Bluetooth range, I already have something working on an ESP32 in C. Happy to provide it open source after some clean-up. The BMS interface uses JBDs latest GUI, so not open source there, yet.

Thanks everyone,

Off-grid Specs:
3S6P Used Sunpower 215 Watt
Siganture Solar EG4 6.5kW Charger
16S1P Eve 280K Battery, 48VDC, 280Ahr
Eco-Worthy 6 String Combiner
100A Critical Load Subpanel
