I just completed the install of my whole house Inverter (RUiXU RX-12K) with 28kWh of battery (will be 42kWh tomorrow). The RUiXU RX-12K has been a bit of a pain but it is working. As there is not a lot of reviews out there about it, I will post a more detailed review once I have a bit more experience with it and can give it a fair review rather than an emotional one.
The install involved a complete rewire of my panels to separate critical loads. This took WAY longer than I thought it would. I estimated 6 hours. Took 2 days. The wife was NOT happy (never over promise and under deliver...), but I managed to get enough power up to survive the first night, and was able to run the critical load panel off battery the second night, while I completed the Main/Grid Panel.
The first 2 days numbers are in.
Day 1 - $0.15
Day 2 - $0.23
I'm on a free nights plan so all the batteries need to do is assist my solar from 9am - 9pm. The 2nd day was purely on battery from 11am-9pm. With all usage normal with the HVAC running and a load of laundry with dryer it took the battery down to 25% by 9pm. I'm hoping this will be enough to cover us during the summer months once I add my 3rd battery bank.
Overall very happy with the results but still have a bit to do to get it working the way I want.
