Two string will be on separate roof planes but very close together so I am looking to connect, and bond, the racking with EMT.
I think that NEC allows this as the EMT acts as GC, except for rooftop AC systems but:
1. Are there any other exceptions as to where code requies a dedicated EGC inside the EMT?
AND
2. Would you run another EGC anyway for safety/redundancy?
It's only 10ft of conduit/wire so I will run the wire anyways but I am curious as to what code says.
Thank you!
