I just bought a MPP Solar LV 3KVA-24V all in one inverter/solar charge controller: https://watts247.com/product/pip-lv2424-msd/?wpam_id=3
There's a video on that website where I bought the battery where Will Prowse is installing the 12 volt version of that all in one system, and at the end of the video shows the 24 volt version of the system that I bought. He mentions that you can just connect the 24 volt system to 2 battle born lithium ion batteries (I assume in series to since each of the battle borns are 12 volts).

But when I got the MPP Solar LV 3KVA-24V the manual in table 3 lists:

Bulk Charging Voltage Flooded Battery: 29.2 AGM / Gel Battery 28.2

It does not list lithium ion battery as one of the supported batteries. Does anyone know if the MPP Solar LV 3kva-24v inverter/charger works with lithium ion batteries?

"lithium ion" is generic. You need to be specific when you reference "Lithium".

Most common types are:
Lithium NMC/Pouch = 3.6-3.7V nominal - risk of fire and explosion. Typical in BEV, PHEV applications, high power density.
Lithium Titanate, LTO = 2.3V nominal - expensive but incredibly robust. lower power density.
Lithium Iron Phosphate, LiFePO4, LFP = 3.2V nominal - robust high cycle - the "go to" chemistry of the day for DIY Solar.

All require a BMS to protect individual cells from damage.

Hi,
Just getting started...
I purchased the MPP Solar 12 system, 2 used Valance 12.8v 40ah Lithium Ion Phosphate batteries.
I did read that you have set your solar charger to "user defined", then set 26, 27 & 29 to match your batteries requirements.
My Question is:
What were the final setting you used?

Thanks,

Slightly off topic, but where did you source the bootlace ferrules for the ends of the battery cables?
