Using a Growatt 48v SPF 3000TL LVM with an SOK 48v battery. Manual calls for a set of 4awg wires from battery to inverter.

What I happen to have laying around is Arctic Ultraflex from Polar Wire in both 1/0 and 6awg. I don’t think it’s all that realistic to get the 1/0 in there. That said, the 6awg from Polar Wire is rated at 115a at 86F and 106a at 104F, the inverter manual only calls for 82a.

Total wire length will be under 3 feet.

All seems to be in spec, but darn if that doesn’t “feel” wrong.

Sounds good to me, but people like thick wire. Put a fuse or breaker on it at an amount you feel will keep the cable from melting and go with it. One of the benefits to using a 48v system is lower wire gauges ..

What is the insulation rating on the Arctic Ultraflex?

I used #2 guage on my 3500w AIO ( it was what I had and the largest guage that would fit) and at max capacity of the AIO the wire is cold to the touch.
