JBD BMS noises - buzzing/humming. Broken?

I'm trying to figure out if my new BMS is broken. It's a 16s JBD BMS (lifepo4, JBD-SP25S003v1.0). As soon as I connected it, it started making a buzzing or humming sound. It's not super loud, but I can hear it anywhere in the room, and it's the kind of noise that would slowly drive me crazy in the small space I have the battery in. I can't find any mention of noisy BMSs online, so I'm trying to figure out if I just got unlucky and received a broken one. I've only used the basic Daly BMSs before, but none of those have made any noise.

Aside from the noise, it seems to be working correctly. It's charging, balancing, etc. I've tried disabling parts of it and the noise doesn't change. The noise happens even when I disable the balance feature and tell it to turn off the main mosfets.

Has anyone else seen a noisy BMS?

I have no guess about what's causing the noise, but I have a 14s JBD and it is silent.

My two 4s Overkill Solar BMS (similar to the JBD) are silent.
