So, when people all mention JBD and ordering stuff from Alibaba direct from JBD, is this the store they are talking about?

Quote I got is essentially $1499 per battery plus shipping for 280ah units with 3 am active balance, wheels, touch screen, and I like where the battery terminals are located.

I believe full quote was like around $5600 ish but that didn't include extra paralleling cables.

I am planning to make an order sometime next week. But this would be my first ever alibaba purchase, and I want to make sure I got the right jbd store. Thanks! Or maybe there are multiple. But thanks!

I guess as long as they let me order with my CC and I have my cards purchase protection to back me up, then it is relatively low risk anyway.

By no means am I an Alibaba expert, however, I'd guess this is not the JBD associated with the BMS. This is what I found doing a brief search:

This company has been on Alibaba for six years (versus one for your source), and its logo features the name "Jiabaida," from which the name JBD originates.

Yes, right after I posted I saw that as well. I did search by companies that have shipped to the usa verified. I believe you are right and they are different companies.

Their batteries look legit, and are priced higher than a different manufacturer that was quoating me around $990 per 280ah battery, but I didn't quit elike the features as much as this company, and the battery case layout, etc.

If no one sees any red flags on that company and points it out to me, and I don't find any, I will likely order within a few weeks, and will post back my experience.

Well a lot of the company reviews appear to be very suspicious as fake. (at least one red flag there, just not sure how big or bad that really since nearly every company engages in it) Still looking into it.
