Hi,
Anyone else experiencing issues with JBD tools? I had it working perfectly on my old laptop, but work gave me a new one... downloaded the version from LLT and it connected, confirmed reading success, then crashed, OK... tried the version that is described as stable on wnsnty.xyz, version JBDTools-en V1.6-20170622, which I behaved exactly the same.
I went back to my old laptop, upto date win10, and chcked the version there, exactly the same version, and identical behaviour. Thanks Windows!!
The event log, helpful as ever offers the issue as an interaction between the application and a support DLL called MFC42.DLL

| , a part of the microsoft visual tools... it provides bits to make software developed in VS work. ANybody else any experience... or better yet solution? Thanks Ian |
