Jk BMS 4-8s on 4p4s 12V?

We have 16 cells configured in 4p4s. I bought JK BMS B1A8S20P. It has 9 leads(aside from the total negative lead). I am wondering, did I buy the wrong BMS, or can I just connect 4 of the leads to each "cell"(which has 4 3.2Vcells)? If I can still use it, how on earth would I wire it? This is our first self built battery bank, which has come with many trials! I swear on Amazon it said 12V, so I think it would work. But haven't seen anyone else do that... Any input, guidance, or support is appreciated. We have been having other issues too and I'm sure it's because we are newbies... Thank you for your time reading this!! Have a wonderful day

BMS cell count is for the number of SERIES cells.

Cells in parallel count as a single cell. 4P4S is a single 4S battery, so a 4S BMS is needed.

Thank you for the response! We did get it hooked up right. I just read on our receipt for it it said it was for 24V so I started panicking and confused myself. Pretty new to solar.
