JK BMS Communication with PowMr POW-SunSmart SP5K

I have one of the JK BMS Inverter units and I'm having trouble getting it to communicate with the PowMr POW-SunSmart SP5K Inverter. I have the RS485 connected to Port 1 on the inverter and the RS485 on the BMS Board.

The inverter is configured with the WOW protocol, which is for SNRE units, and the BMS is has the following:
UART1: 9
UART2: 1
CAN Prot: 0

I've tried changing the a few of these around, but when I turn the Inverter to use the BMS (from disabled), the BMS will start rebooting and loop until I turn off that setting in the Inverter.

Any ideas what settings I need to configure here? Considering there are 3 options with >8 settings each, there's a lot of permutations I don't want to try if I don't need to.

thanks, Kori

No, I haven't had much time to mess with the various iterations of settings. That's the problem when you work 8+hrs 6 days/week. Not much for doing experiments.

I connected my PowMr Sunsmart to the PowMr cloud using their WiFi-HF-N dongle. It shows me the battery voltage and current, but the Inverter needs to follow the JK-BMS/battery before I can set the schedule on the inverter to tell it when to charge and when to discharge. If I tell the battery BMS to stop charging or discharging and the Inverter does not know because it has no RS485/CAN connectity, the Inverter still tries to charge the battery and that sends a surge it seems....so I need to make the RS485 connection.....
