Have posted previously but no answers, so have included a couple pics.
I tried and failed to swap my Daly BMS to my new JK
JK B2A8S20P

Once I installed and turned on the new JK bms, the settings and numbers all showed good via Bluetooth app

Showed my cells were well balanced with identical resistance.

Turned on my Victron with shunt and after 10 seconds the Easysolar would trip going into a low voltage alarm. It stated 2volts even though the batteries were well over 27volt.
All the connections were good. After a few attempts checking with my multimeter found when the victron was reactivated
the voltage at battery+ to P- would drop from 27.5V to low volts, thus the victron shut down.
I did try to change a few things on the bms but because I'm offgrid had to reinstall the Daly.

Any thoughts for next time I try it to instal the JK?

ThanksJk bms.jpgDaly 33.jpg

Were any faults reported in the BMS app? I am assuming you were able to connect to it with bluetooth?

If you use the search function in the upper right hand corner it has many returns -- might be overwhelming but a lot of good info in there. This is not a BMS that I have but I do have a couple of JK BMS

Did you have the balance leads plugged into the JK when you removed the leads from the cells or did you just plug it back in to keep it together? Whenever you are working on the balance leads, don’t have it plugged in, just too easy for an eyelet to touch the wrong cell.

Yes the bluetooth was on, but not sure if the 'enable discharge' was on.
I'd think that would be a standard. Why would that be an option?

Yeh all the sensor cables were plugged into after the JK after the batteries.

From the little time I had it, it looked like it had a lot of nice options.

Have contacted the seller and am now in the process of getting another one.

Yeah, on my JK discharge enable was off until I turned it on. Then I had to adjust the set points for the voltage min/max...the defaults were off a bit.

I like the option, when you have you hand buried in wires all over the place .. It nice to have Just one more place to turn it off, and on some of the little 12v setups might be your only shutoff.

Of course I am OCD enough that I never have a rats nest of wires and I have been shocked enough in my life I always deenergize circuits before working on them...

Building batteries from scratch has been a steep learning curve to in how to do that... tape over any metal bits and wire ends until connecting each one.

And even with all that, some how I find ways to feel a tingle (even if it's just in my head 🤣 ) ..

That tingle in the head is what is left over when you wake up after your wife opens the credit card bill and sees all the solar stuff on it... and whacks you on the head with the nearest heavy object.
