I'm in the process of transitioning from Pylontech passive BMS over to the JK PB active BMS.
Had the JK on a bench setup for a week or so to check how it works, integration with HA and other things ...
Yesterday I started it up , connected to 15 Pylontech pouches (as always) and tried to talk to it via RS485 ... no response... Shut it down (took battery power) , powered up again and NO SOUND came on from the BMS.. screen was black. No bluetooth either.
Shut it down again (battery power disconnect) as shutdown button did not work , powered on and it emitted 2 short BUZZ sounds .. pause ..one longer buzz and that was it.

Anyone seen this before ?
As the BMS is 2 weeks old I did not open it yet but I will do tonight to check for any "smoked" parts.
