I bought two batteries from China with the new version 19 JK-BMS (JK-PB1A16S-15P). I expected that when I connect the cat5 cable from one RS485-2 to the other batterys RS485-2, and have one with DIP addr 0 and the other with DIP 1, I should see 2 packs in the screen on the master battery(dip 0 battery). This does not happend. I can only see one pack on the LCD screen. What do I do wrong?

Only the com cable are connected, currents are not connected at all.

Assuming you have one BMS set to address 0, did you open the app tab 'parallel'?

'Parallel' tab in JK PC app only gets ungrayed out when it detects an addr 0 BMS.

I did not connect PC, only the phone app. Still I should see 2 packs on the LCD screen on the master battery?
I don't think the phone app has that capability, but I have never tried it. At the least you likely need the latest version of phone app if it does support it.

When you set a BMS to addr 0, it becomes the liaison for the other paralleled BMS's. All data is reported via the BMS id 0 master.

Right. I expected to see 2 packs in the LCD screen, like there are 4 packs in the video from Offgrid Garage:

In the BMS Settings, UART2 is set to 16. This cannot be changed. I hope this is correct, since it seems that RS485-2 communication is the problem.

The problem with Andy's video is it only shows one V19 communicating with V15's. JK look to have made some undocumented changes and the V15 comms configuration has been changed on the V19 so V19 to V19 comms are different but what to ?

The V19 has a much increased memory to allow more settings so why not keep the comms common to the V15.

I had the same problem with new PB v19. I swapped the master and slaves and it worked for some reason.

Ser, have ypu got a solution to this issue. I experienced same as what you are saying. I am going crazy how these 2 batteries to communicate😪

Fixed by master UART2 -> secondary UART1. Both on UART2 was not working for me. v19.10 and v19.18. But fixed. Worked me: the master left side (000) on UART2 (right conn)/ slave(001) on UART1.
