I'm finally happy, major design selections are made, and a lot of major components are either on-hand or ordered. Still need to buy a nice 40' shipping container & the steel to fabricate mounts for the 24X400W bifacials mounting on top of the container. The county building dept. is good with everything planned, PG&E (utility) issues are resolved, so it finally can proceed. I ended up buying EP Cube with two 7.6KW inverters and 12 batteries for 15.4KW & 39.6KWH storage. First need to install an EG4 24K hybrid mini split heat pump for summer cooling because our A/C condenser is in the way and must be removed. The now obsolete R22 central HVAC will also be replaced with an inverter ducted heat pump after the solar work in done thus converting us from propane to solar/electric heat, should save up to $1,000. a year. The EP Cube will be installed outside almost underneath the PV panels, so zero trenching! Will provide some progress images after the site prep work is done.
