Just ordered Lifepo4 prismatic cell 3.2V 280Ah lithium lifepo4

mostly finished... running a window AC at 60 amps for 4 hours... turned out nice

Enclosures are fun to think about and impment. Here is mine, the Tower of Power. I'm upgrading from lead acid to lithium when they arrive. Bottom is batteries with connection for MPPT, center section is a baffled inverter, so the fan airflow works without external fans needed, and 120V outlets on side.

assembled. the case with spacers at each end providing compression at bottom and plastic coated all thread for top compression

did I final load test... these are 272 AH batteries... load testes 12v 8 cell. at 80 amp load, it ran 567ah and 7.3kw.. very happy... 14.4v to 11.1v Screenshot_20210307-204116.jpgScreenshot_20210307-204123.jpg

little battery drift at the end of charge 2.66-2.83... at most of the discharge they where very close

What was the differential like when the battery was full?

Watch Mein Aussi Bru, he does a full test and the voltage take a dive right at the end, exactly as in the spec curve.

yes the 100%‐90% and 15%-0% the voltage moves fast.. the rest only .5 volt

no... it didn't drift until last 10%... I am happy with them
I'm interested to see how well the pack re-converges at the top when you recharge.
Preferably with balancing disabled.
I have an idea that the further out of sync they get at the bottom the less they converge at the top.
I have a further idea to "titrate" the pack bandwidth based on the drift.
The low cell cutoff is set based on when the weak cell diverges $n mv.

think sag when you draw, reverse when you charge, the readings mean nathang! ;-)
