Hello,
I have the following set up:
2 growatt 5kw offgrid inverters
48V lithium batteries (56KWhr)
Kholer 12RES generator line 1&2 and ground connected in parallel to both growatts. Used as back up and slight charge to batteries when there's no solar charge and low battery voltage.
My issue is the ground and negative is connected in the generator control box, and also in the fist sub panel. I want to disconnect the generator negative from the ground. I found the ground screw with a large black wire and small white wire. I've disconnected the white wire and did a continuty check between the ground and negative where the wires are connected at the back of the generator but it still shows continuty.
Does anyone know how to disconnect the ground from the negative on the Kholer 12res generator?
I've attached a picture of the 2 screw points un the control box.
