I am looking to buy a reasonably priced battery tester as I have found a good supply of used batteries.
My plan is to be able to check them quickly and decide if I can take them home for proper testing.
I will use it for intended purpose on cars etc but I want to get an idea of deep cycle batteries.
They do seem to need a CCA rating but there is a general formula to estimate that from A/H rating.
I can buy batteries and if they are no good take them back for refund.
Does anyone use a tester similar to get an idea on deep cycle batteries?
Gives an output of voltage, CCA and internal resistance.
Most of my dead batteries seem to have high internal resistance.
