What is the advantage/disadvantage of using larger watt solar panels vs lower watt solar panels? For example, shouldn't I use Five 400 watt panels or Ten 200 watt panels instead of Twenty 100 watt solar panels to power my titan generator. I'd like to take up less space on my new ground array.

If you want to use up less space, you already have your answer - go for the highest-efficiency / highest power panels you can afford.

Design your PV array series/parallel combination to meet charge controller voltage/current limits before buying them.
Take in to account Voc increase in cold weather.

Five, 400W panels can only be configured 5s or 5p. Other numbers of panels (not a prime number) allow more options.

And then, of course, there may be an exact shape area you want to fit.
