Hey guys! I'm trying to find some options for some solar panels available in Las Vegas around mid January. I'm planning on driving in there with a 16' flat trailer and hoping to pick up two pallets, something around ~4kw per pallet. I've found current connected but their inventory is a little slim and CSE solar but haven't seen many reviews from them yet. I'm looking for higher quality panels or at least not known-to-be-bad.

Thanks for any advice!

a1solar has a fulfillment center in Vegas. Their inventory changes often.
Here is a link showing what they have in Vegas at the moment.
Thanks man. Do you know if I can do local pickup? I can email them too but again just trying to find out what others have actually learned vs what a retailer will tell me.

Edit: sounds like they will: https://a1solarstore.com/pickup.html

My Dad and brother-in-law picked up two approx 390w panels there - so it can be done…. But as I remember it took them a bit longer to process the sales and pickup than I thought it should - as I remember an extra day or two.

There's this dude I've seen on youtube that has panels just laying around on his drive way. He lives in your area. You could probably just swing by and "borrow" a couple. Doubt anyone would notice.

There's a thread on here about them wanting you to scan your DL / passport and/or wire the money to them, did you have any kind of shadiness?
No ordered two separate times, ordered online had 20 panels shipped came with lift gate on pallet as I paid and requested. Second order was for microinverters 4 months later shipped them quick really zero issues. They have some great deals if you can play the waiting game. I did not do local pickup, had everything shipped.

I'll add they emailed me with order confirmation... paid via CC and then contacted on email and WhatsApp throughout the whole process for both orders until delivery <two weeks. I'd compare them to ordering like with Nassau Cable. Really happy saved a ton of money with both companies.

I haven't looked at that other thread, but my expierence online ordering high dollar items is you are best ensuring the vendor is legit and then calling your credit card company before placing an order larger than 2k. If I had to speculate the vendor had their CC decline then requested funds maybe via wire transfer.

on the other hand they do offer wire transfer, but I'd rather eat the 4 percent discount knowing I can dispute charges if stuff goes bad. For ID I am sure if something doesn't look right IE billing doesn't match shipping address they are probably trying to verify you are the card holder before shipping knowing they could get screwed... but others can share their stories on them. My expierence was excellent.
