Laser cutting service

There are a lot of smart people on here so I thought I would ask. Does anyone know of any good laser cutting services if I have the files (thanks goes out to techrider!)? I'd like some small mounting plates cut from acrylic, Aluminum, etc or 3d printed whichever is easier. I'm not sure how normal services like that are these days. Maybe I watched to much "The Peripheral"

I looked at sendcutsend but it was too expensive for what I wanted.

I've always been happy with SendCutSend.
The few times I've priced it out, the sheet metal was close to the same price as a finished process from them.

I had one design where they called or emailed before cutting because they thought it was going to warp. Is should have listed, because it did warp.

Anyone with a Co2 laser can cut acrylic. It’s easy and cuts great.

I would just look locally for laser cutting services - there should be plenty nearby if you’re in/near a metro area. The hassle and shipping costs may not worth going elsewhere unless it’s a big production run.

I'll look around. Etsy has quite a few people. A bubble envelope for 1/8" plastic 3x7 plates to mount jk bms com boards should be cheap shipping also.

The c02 helped me find someone locally in my town <75k people, now we will see if they respond.

I use send cut send often, been happy with them. Probably not the cheapest but theres no nonsense quoting. Ships quick as long ad you don't need second op services.
