Has anyone begin looking at the lavo system out of Australia? https://lavo.com.au/ If it is real, it could be very interesting. A fully integrated solution, taking solar current, cracking water into Hydrogen, practically storing the Hydrogen in metal sulfides, and on demand, using a fuel cell to re-create current on demand. A complete 40KWhr. system (less panels) for ~$23k USD.

It's a cool concept, but I doubt the tech is "there" yet. I suspect there would be electrode fouling issues in the fuel cell introduced via the water source reducing the lifespan. A closed system that reused the "combustion" water might be more practical, but who knows, perhaps molecular sieve filters have solved that problem. The round trip efficiency on them isn't that good (~40%?) without making use of the waste heat.
