Hi I’m looking for LiFePO4 batteries for an electric propulsion system for my yacht but I live in a regional area of Australia so I’m limited to buying online. So my question is how do you sort through the chaff to find the best bang for your buck? To give you an example of what I mean here are just a few options from Ebay.

Example: (A) 135ah 12v LiFePo4 battery 7.5kg (16lbs) with a Continuous Discharge Current of 80A (if I cut it open will I find a wizard inside?)

Example: (B)100ah 12v LiFePo4 with a weight of 12kg (26lbs) and a Continuous Discharge Current of 100A (costs $120 more than the first example.

Example: (C) Renogy 100AH weight 11.8kg Continuous Discharge Current of 100A and costs $140 more than example (B)

Then there is Power Pro from the local boating store for $400 more than the Renology.

All of the above can do 48v in series and come with a 3 to 5 year warranty.

So is there a formula for what is good value and what is bad trash?
