I just received my 4S 280 ah lifepo4 battery.....
all the cells are at 3.22-3.23 V individually
Wabt to charge them individually before assembling ,
connected a cell on my power supply ( similar to the one Will recommends ) ajusted to 3,65 no amps when verifying voltage
connect leads on battery , amps go to 4,45 ......
after 30 minutes , reajusted to 3,65 unloaded
reconnect leads around 4,5 amps

3 hres later , same amps reading but battery is at 3.28 V
3 hres later same amps reading battery at 3.30 V

3 am ( 4 hres later ) same amps battery still at 3.30 V
8h am ( more then 12 hres after initial start ) same amps reading and same 3,30 Volts
seems it wont go over 3,30 volts and how come amps reading doesnt go down ?

for now ,I moved on second cell ......

what s wrong ? Have i done something wrong ?
Hope I dint damage anything
thanks
Dan

for now I moved the leads to the second cell ......

If your cell was delivered half full it would take 35 hours to put 140 Ahrs into it at the rate of 4 Amps per hour.

thanks Ampster ,
is there some sort of math that would say at what % the cells are before charging ....they are as delivered to me at 3.22 on a max of 3.65 ......

Counting the Ahrs going in from totally discharged or Ahrs going out from totally charged is the most accurate way.
@dweick , offerred the next best estimate with the caveat that the curve is very flat and voltage is just a range until you get to the top or bottom.
