LiFePO4 'Starter' Batteries ???

I have been battling this road for a LONG time. I am itching to buy some lifepo4 starter batteries for my Suzuki DF300AP motors. I've heard over and over that Ionic and Millertech (among others) are perfectly safe for my application (the marine starter battery line)

1) What happens when the battery is "full" and the bms totally turns things off? How does the stator, etc. in the Suzuki not get damaged?
2) What can I do, if anything to prevent it from being damaged.

This is a problem with lfp batteries in starter vehicles.
The bms CANNOT be charged over 14.4V or it shuts off.
Also, if heavily drained, the battery can draw FAR more than most alternators are capable of supplying.
If your voltage regulator is adjustable, set it around 13.8V if not, be prepared for failure in some situations.

I'm talking about marine lifepo4 batteries are supposedly designed for large outboard primary batteries. I'm aware of the short-falls with the "cheaper" lifepo4 batteries (that are often used for house batteries and charged FROM LA batteries via LA to DC2DC).

I had to remove my two LiFePO4 batteries and switch back to AGM batteries. The alternator that is in my Yamaha 70hp was not compatible with the batteries. I even had the manufacturer change the BMS high shutdown. Also, Yamaha would not warranty the motor with them.
