I have a 400 watt 12/24 volt dc wind turbine. I would like to use for some exterior security lights. I use it currently to keep our boat battery charged up. But in winter I wondered what would I need to add to it to use it as a diversion load for lights, etc. Or if that is possible? It puts out 12 volts at the charge controller red/ black wires hot and ground. The controller brakes the blades when TBE battery is charged, and provides over spin protection. But right now I have it grounded out not spinning at all. That's why I am needing to try to utilize the off my normal use season power for lights. It's all new to me but I'm trying to learn from other folks like you that have more knowledge of how everything works.
Thankyou Walter
