I have a small system on my RV that I can use to keep m old 48 volt golf cart charged through an inverter when grid electric isn’t available. It’s time to replace the lead acid bateri again and I have a thought. I could replace those batteries with lithium and use the cart as storage when the grid is not available. Got the idea from an article about using the Tesla power wall the same way. Question is, would the golf cart work as a golf cart or would it destroy the lithium batteries? Would be cost effective since the batteries should last a lot longer than the 6 volt Trogen.
