Lithium discharge vs. AGM Discharge

That's pretty much correct, except an AGM safe range is more like 50%. The big difference is that an AGM can supply loads more high power draw in a short time than lithium.
I assure you Lifepo4 or LIPO batteries can put out just as many amps as AGM if not more.

The limiting factor is the BMS.

All these Battery jump packs are nothing but a little 3s 8000 MA Lipo.

It's just the nature of the chemistry. If you look at a lead acid car battery, it has a rating for CCA (Cold Crank Amps). Lithium batteries don't have an equivalent because they just can't provide the extended high amp surge like lead acid.

I know it's been discussed here on this forum, just not sure where.
Nonsense absolute nonsense cause my tiny lithium ion jump start unit does exactly that.

Lithium has WAY WAY bigger natural discharge amp capacity then lead acid and Way over AGM. ( it’s precisely why we have to protect lithium so much , if it’s shorts it delivers HUGE currents. )

What you are seeing is a BMS protection action not the chemistry itself

For example here’s a lithium jump start , 12AH lithium with a 600A current capability and look how small it is.

Try that with your silly AGM !!! ☺️

Setup with a suitable BMS , lithium makes a way way better cranking battery then any nonsense lead acid. ☺️
