This is why, personally at this day and age, the only options for DIY battery packs for solar should be LiFePO4 or LTO based chemistries.
Yup, agree, I have 16 Battleborns in one of my travel trailers and am doing Tesla modules for my homestead but they'll be housed in a small brick building/pump house style about 20' from the wall of where my inverter etc will be.... I'm using the EVTV BMS but when it comes to riding batteries more unpredictable than my bi-polar Jekyll and Hyde former spouse, they'll be in their own little bunker.... not worth the risk.... (yes cabling is going to be a bit pricy but a lot cheaper than a new home after a fire).
