Lithium starting battery for boat iam so confused!

Technology is causing marketing speak to have a heart attack. Trolling motors are rated at maximum power, not continuous power for the WOW! factor. They aren't designed to run at 100 %. Don't run it at 100%, but provide it with 100%. Heck, even the National Electric Code says max permitted load on a circuit is 80%. When marketing catches up, that 70 pound thrust motor will be a new model rated at 60 pounds continuous.
And yet people get away with it every day. I know that a Minn Kota made in the last few years will have no problem with it. It would be better to list the good ones than make a blanket statement that none can run 100% full throttle continuously (with the correct prop). What makes me cringe is running it out of the water without water lubricating the seal or running a salad ball on the prop without clearing it. Another motor/contror killer is using those cheap auto reset circuit breaker. Those either overheat, weld closed, fail or reduce current(performance). Running too big or no circuit breaker is asking for it.
