Hello!
I'm trying to figure out which panels to get for my van conversion. The space I have is pretty limited and I would like to maximize it. The width of my roof rack is 60", and it's 145" long but unfortunately has a fan in the middle that divides it into 3 sections: ~40", 24", 81". My initial plan was to go with 3xREC 60 cell panels since their dimensions are pretty much perfect for this configuration - however, since I am charging an 8-cell LiFePo4 pack using a (Victron) MPPT I am afraid 60 cells might not produce high enough voltage. Connecting all 3 in series would overcome that, but how would that behave with partial shading? Seems suboptimal. Also not excited about deadly voltages if I could avoid that.
Would appreciate any thoughts. Thank you!
