I have REDARC manager 30 that will take up to 32v open circuit voltage on the solar input. Many panels in the 300w size have a higher open voltage than that. I’d like to get close to it instead of standard 19v. Any suggestions?
If you search ebay / amazon etc for a 12 volt panel you'll find what you are after. 12 volt panels usually have a Vmp around 15 to 18 volts and a Voc of 22 to 24 volts. I'm not aware of any panel with a Vmp over 19v but a VoC far enough under 32v that it will never reach 32v in the right conditions.
Well bugger me, I found one. I guess someone wanted to prove me wrong. No idea on how trust worthy these figures are of course.
