HEY!
I'm looking for a cheap way to get my VenusOS (running on RPi) to monitor the voltage of my camper's 12v battery. I don't need a full blown shunt for power consumption, etc: I just want to know the voltage of that battery on VenusOS.

I've googled quite a bit, and keep coming up with non relevant (but interesting for other purposes) results .

So, how do I report the voltage of a 12v agm battery to VenusOS on Pi?

Thanks!

I did something similar using Node-Red on a RasPi.
I bought a HAT that has analog inputs (translated to I2C protocol), and connected a cheap voltage divider to it (brings down voltage from up to 25v to 3v logic).
I don't have the part links on hand as it was quite a while ago.
But that's basically the idea.
