I'm in the process of purchasing EG4 GridBoss + FlexBoss21 from Signature Solar. I'm installing the ground mount racking, panels, conduit, etc myself. I'm looking to sub out the installation and wiring of the GridBoss/FlexBoss into my main residential 200A service, along with some extra electrical work (i.e. moving a few large loads to the smart load ports on the GridBoss, etc). I'm handling all the permitting and everything else myself.

I'm looking for a licensed electrician in the DFW area (install is in McKinney, TX). Not looking for complete turnkey system installation (i.e. panels, racking, etc), which seems to be what most installers are interested in.

(I have an detailed Statement of Work document that I have put together, with a complete Scope of Work description for the prospective electrician/installer to review if seriously interested.)

Anyone know anyone fitting this description?

I’m a licensed electrician based in the DFW area, and I’ve recently completed a similar installation for a customer in Houston using an EcoFlow system with their Smart Panel, so I’m very familiar with hybrid setups like the GridBoss + FlexBoss21.

Since you’re handling the permitting, ground mount, and solar side, that’s no problem at all. I’d be happy to take on the electrical portion — tying the system into your 200A service, wiring in the GridBoss/FlexBoss, and re-routing loads to the smart load ports as needed.

Feel free to send over your Statement of Work — I’ll review the scope and can provide a quote or next steps from there.

Can you handle my paperwork too? For a fee, of course.

I will need an electrician to handle the wiring as well. I can also provide details on my project.

Wiring diagram and basic componet layout images added to post.

I used Colby Moody with Revelation Power for my EG4 system. I planned out my needs and had my own inverter and batteries and he supplied the panels, wiring, etc. and did all the paperwork including PTO and permits for the city. He does solar but does a lot more plain old electrical work so it's worth getting another bid for your project, especially considering how hard it is to find anyone willing and able to take on a project involving solar unless they're doing the whole thing with their equipment. The price was good and my ROI is less than 4 years.
