I'm looking for feedback on my install plans before I wire everything up. My current system is as follows-
- 1 EG4 Gridboss
- 2 EG4 18kPVs
- 3 EG4 PowerPro Wall Mount Batteries
- 31kW PV array
Right now the system is setup to supply power to my shop through the Gridboss backup port, The grid port on the Gridboss is feeding back through the PV production meter and into my 200amp main panel through a 100amp backfeed breaker. I have the Gridboss setup so I'm not pumping in more than 24kW to trip that breaker.
PV panels go into the 18kPVs inside my solar shed.
My future plans are to get my house on the backup Gridboss lugs and my shop on the non-backup lugs.
My house gets fed through the bottom lugs on my 200amp main (pass through style panel)
The main panel has my well pump (30amp breaker), 2- 20 amp breakers for an outlets on the pole, 50amp breaker for a surge protection, and finally the 100amp breaker for the solar backfeed breaker.
I would like to splice into the house lines at the bottom of my main panel with polaris type lugs and feed that into the Gridboss backup lugs. Then from the Gridboss "GRID" port it will feed to the PV production meter , into the safety shutoff switch (Yes I will upgrade that to a 200amp) and into the bottom lugs on the main panel.

I've already spoke to the utility company, the PV production meter is only there for monitoring if needed. However they want me to keep it in place. My main meter tracks the power I use and power I feed back into the grid.
Thoughts or suggestions?
Also, I'm way out in the country so what you see might not be up to code.
