Hi forum friends. I am very new to the solar community. Today I installed a single EG4 6000XP inverter with 2x strings of 7x Canadian Solar 400w panels.

I did not connect any battery to the system yet.

When I powered up the inverter, I noticed that both PV strings are producing very low power ~78watts, volts are ok. Panels are in full sun, no shades.

I’m attaching some pics.

Inverter is updated to latest firmware.
Any idea where I missed something?

It looks like you have no battery and near zero load. What are you expecting?
Perhaps you are setup on lithium battery and do not have the COM cable installed.
Perhaps you have no battery, no grid, and near zero load.
Perhaps you are trying to use solar without a battery but did not select "PV GRID OFF" in settings.

No battery, not connected to grid (grid is not available), I connected an extension cord to L1-N just to test.. I can only power a small ventilator, a PC Monitor will shutdown the system. Overload??
“Pv Grid OFF” / Settings #19 is Enabled

Your panels only output as much power as needed. They only output 78watts because that’s how much was needed to run the idle consumption and loads. And for the love of Pete get a battery for it 😁
