I've looked through a lot of forms, but I cant seem to find any that give a tank heating pad with low temp cut off option.
They have all been 45F on and 68F OFF. Which is way to conservative.
Are there ones that go on at 35F and off at 45F?
i found one but thats from battle born and its $200+, way to expensive.
Thanks in advance.

I would separate the temp control function from the heating unit. I use programmable controllers to control livestock water heaters, I like this one because it works for heating and cooling. So I also have it attached to the refrigerator in the barn so in the winter when temp falls below 40F, it turns off the refrigerator. Once it gets above 50F it turns on again.

I use 12vdc bee-hive heating pads with a simple thermostatic relay.
