Low voltage issues

I’m currently running 4 valiant 6v 400ah lead carbon batteries. (Two sets of series running parallel, 12v 800ah)

I built the set up yesterday, and it worked great all day, charged to 100% capacity, at about 58v from 4 36v 250w panels (also linked two series, to parallel)

Today I put the panels in their proper location on top of a sea can (yesterday I had them leaning on the wall as I set up), and left for the day. When I returned my armada Arc40 charge controller was blinking two codes (E01- battery voltage low, and E02- battery voltage has exceeded controller limit)

Controller says batteries are 100% yet voltage it reading 11.9v
Each cell is reading exactly 5.89v but charge controller is not charging because of faults?

Any help getting to the bottom of why this would fault line this would be greatly appreciated.

"36V" panels - what does that mean? Voc? Vmp?

That MPPT is limited to < 100Voc PV input. it's very possible the 2S Voc of your panels exceeded 100V if your temperature.

If that's not the case, I would conclude the charge controller failed.

Recommend you wire the panels 4P with a fuse on each string and try again.
