LVX 6048 vs LV6548 vs 5kw 48V

LVX 6048 vs LV6548 vs 5kw 48V

I am having difficulty understanding some of the (hidden features) features of these devices.
I ideally want a 48V system off grid with a power transfer switch to switch to house power when the sun goes away. (no batteries)
Of course i like the price of the 5Kw 48v. Should I do two of those with an external power transfer switch.
All comments about my options both listed and other inverters is welcome.
Also does anyone know what some manufacturers call a Power Transfer switch? This is where the inverter switches to house power when the sun power drops below a certain level?

I know you can only run the MPP in batteryless mode as a single unit, if using dual, you must have battery bank. I also know the LV6548 will only do 120v as a single unit (not split phase as standalone), on the LV6048, it should be able to do split-phase 240v/120v on single unit like the LV5048.
