mc4's under continuous 30a?

has anyone ran 30a's continuously through mc4's?


I've enough bits now to make up 2nd array but the isc has me nervous. 28.84 isc combined

is this just pushing it to far or is this acceptable

Real MC4's can handle that. Unfortunately it seems like 99% of what I see is "MC4 style" or "MC4 compatible" knock offs. I've replaced hundreds of them. If the connections are easily accessible and you don't mind checking them occasionally, go ahead and give it a shot. Otherwise I'd use a junction box or combiner box.
