Hi,

My system is off-grid with solar and now I am about to replace a broken Whisper 200 Windturbine with a Skystream 3.7.
The Skystream output is AC and can be directly connected to a grid. If I disconnect grid the Windturbine stops, when grid is back it start to operate.

The rest of my system:
- Load controller Outback Flexmax 60
- Load controller Epever
- Solar 1,5KW
- Outback VFXR 3024e Inverter
- LiFePo4 8S2P (280Ah cells)

When the Windturbine is operating and its output exceeds the AC consumption the Inverter will be AC coupled and charger the batteries but as it is backfeeding through the inverted it will be without charge limits.
To prevent overcharging I use the FX60 and Inverter outputs and SSR´s to disconnect the Windturbine when the battery voltage reaches 27.2V.

To avoid having to disconnect the windturbine when batteries are full, I would like to find a way to match windturbine output with a dumpload (heater).

I believe this could be done by measuring the output and then controlling the power to a heater. Attached a simplified layout.

Recommendations on what to use? Preferably something ready made, simple and reliable.

Thanks for reading!

Mikael
