Hi
I am considering installing Megarevo R12KLNA hybrid inverter for the battery backup. I’d like to AC couple my existing 10kw GT Enphase microinverter to the Megarevo and intend to connect it only during grid outages for the purpose of charging the battery and powering the backup loads.

Although the Megarevo spec sheet mentions AC coupling, the user manual does not contain any details of the AC couple connection via the GEN port similar to the settings in Deye/Solark etc. No luck so far getting any info from the manufacturer.

Would appreciate answers to this if anyone has accomplished this configuration with Megarevo.

Thanks

Megarevo confirmed to me that AC coupling is supported on the recent HW/FW version

I am in a similar situation. I have an Enphase system w/IQ8 system controller, 2-Enphase batteries. I recently purchased the 12k from Watts247. I have it connected and working. I built 2-16Kwh batteries and charge and discharge with the NHX. It supports it but requires a different firmware. I haven’t changed my firmware yet. But it is on my list of things to do. My intention is to keep a few panels to run/charge Enphase system/batteries. Then add most of them to the NHX to charge the batteries directly.
But I haven’t done much research on it yet. Not sure if they will need to be wired. If they still need to be connected to the combiner for line communications, or if they will need a separate envoy for communications. Or if I just connect them directly to inverter.

here is the diagram, but its general and not Enphase specific, so not sure if it needs an envoy or not. The documentation says it will change the frequency and in the generator position it will measure the solar internally. So I expect it will work, however all updates to firmware and such are done thru the envoy connection. 1732403140373.png

since the megarevo is a beast inverter why you don't get rid of the lame micro-inverters and install the solar panels directly. Megarevo beats Luxpower, Deye, enphase or any other inverter by a lot. There is also a 16kw inverter

Anyone succeeded in ac coupling the Megarevo inverter? I just ordered the R16KLNA-P6.
Set the AC couple terminal to the generator port and it should work. This disables the generator function. The grid will connect to the generator port so the AC coupled solar will work. When the battery is over a certain percentage (in the setting), it will shut off AC solar when the grid is down. That's because the micro-inverters try to push the max power possible. Just don't connect more kW in AC solar than the battery can take in charging power.
