So the white flat cable is an 8 wire 1:1 RJ45 cable between SEPLOS BMS and the MR RJ45 and it uses CANBUS to communicate.200 amp Seplos BMS using Canbus and MRO (canbus) using 20 Kw DIY battery.
I can.Can you change settings remotely? Is it an essential thing to have?
Arrows should point to GRIDI am am uncertain about the proper direction of the CTs. I found some replacements but they do not have an arrow. Is the Power screen suppose to read negative watts or positive with no PV and inverter off, bypass mode.? Negative would be with the arrow pointing towards the grid and positive watts would be with the arrow pointing toward the loads.
Mine point away from MR's grid inputArrows should point to GRID
Try charge 58v, Bat end 48v and OVP 55vHi Everyone, I thought i would post this question here, instead of creating a new post, since it is related to the 8k Megarevo. So My question is has anyone been able to get Megarevo (BSE8KLNA US 8KW Hybrid Solar Inverter(Low Voltage)) to charge a LFP battery (with grid or PV) without using can bus communication, by using the lead acid battery setting with lets say these parameters (or any other) Charge V = 55v, Bat end V 48v and Bat OVP 55v. I have been testing this unit for the last week and for the life of me i cannot get it to charge the battery.
OVP should be higher than charge, no?Try charge 58v, Bat end 48v and OVP 55v
You're good.Mine point away from MR's grid input
Yep, Over Voltage Protection should be higher than charging voltage obviouslyOVP should be higher than charge, no?
Can you try a return of 20%? I think that value needs to be higher than the discharge value. So it will discharge to 60 soc and charge to 80 before discharging again.Does anyone here has lead-acid batteries hooked up to his/her MR and is willing to share with me some settings?
What I have set it to:
Battery info:
TYPE: lead acid
temp: 0C
SOC 0%
LEAD BAT: 60Ah (i know these are old 120Ah batteries so I took a safe setting)
Charge Volt 57.4
Bat end-v 46
Bat OVP 58
Currently my displays shows:
Battery
Volt: 57.4V
Curr: 3.2A
REACT MODE
QU WAVE <- what is that ? and what are the other options: power factor & react power ?
What are these settings?
grid percent:
INPUT 100%
DISC DEPTH
GRID DOD: 40%
offgridDOD: 40%
Return: 70%
I am getting really discouraged by my MR
Return needs to be higher then DOD. A return of 20% is useless in that the DOD is 40%, making it lower and battery will never reach 20% if it stops at 40%.Can you try a return of 20%? I think that value needs to be higher than the discharge value. So it will discharge to 60 soc and charge to 80 before discharging again.
I am assuming all of those settings refer to DOD, not SOC.Return needs to be higher then DOD. A return of 20% is useless in that the DOD is 40%, making it lower and battery will never reach 20% if it stops at 40%.
I want my battery to return soon, in that if the load has a peak or a cloud comes by it can draw from battery again. For example Grid 40%, Return 45%. Has to charge 5% before the battery will discharge again.
almost :D45% DOD is 65% SOC
no problem, it's the reality of working with such a poorly documented unitThanks for correction.
Could you put in the announcement what version of the firmware lcd&arm is included in the attachment?Greeting All,
Attached are latest firmware from Megarevo 8KSNA and the rebranded garden variety from BlueSun, GSL and so on.
This latest version will supports the Parallel inverter functions and bug fixes. ZIP package includes, the Tools for loading as well as instructions.
The files are provided as is, your mileage may vary. ?
I have not had a chance to load the new firmware. Received it hot off the Megarevo oven last night. From Megarevo's Troy & Company.Could you put in the announcement what version of the firmware lcd&arm is included in the attachment?
