MEIBrandauthorized Store?

Hi all,

I am looking for any input/feedback about MEIBrandauthorized Store on AliExpress. Has anyone purchased from them? If so we’re you satisfied with their service and or products? I am looking at either their 280ah or 310ah cells.

They seem to have competitive pricing on battery cells and have lots of positive feedback on AliExpress (for what that’s worth), but I trust this forum a whole lot more than AliExpress reviews. I searched the forum and didn’t find anything about them, hence my question.

Thanks!

*edit*
I just saw this thread and I think I may have my answer. MEIBrandauthorized Store are selling the ”VariCore” brand.

Hello, I ordered 4 cells with 310Ah from this store. In reality, the cells had the following capacity, 252Ah, 271Ah, 272Ah and 270Ah
In my eyes, the provider is a fraud. I can not recommend anyone to buy from this store! I also suspect that it generally affects "VariCore" "SMALL DEN" and "Liitokala", but I still lack the evidence.

Ugh sorry to hear… thanks for the feedback tho

Hallo G8N,
upps,

Hallo Juba,
danke für Deine ausführliche Schilderungen.
Hattest Du 310Ah Zellen versprochen bekommen?

@G8N
Hallo G8N,

Herb

FYI - I ordered 8 x 100 AH cells back in May and ALiExpress guarantee was extended to around 90 days.

Tracking stopped updating in June and I then put in a claim for non delivery and vendor accepted without AliExpress having to get involved, so I was happy to see that.

I got my money back to PayPal no problem within 3 days of the claim.

I cannot say anything about the quality of the cells as I never received them but I did not lose anything except waiting for 3.5 months.

Hi Rich585,
thanx for sharing the information.
Did you order the 100Ah cells at MEIBrandauthorized Store?
Best regards
Herb ?

Yes 100 AH cells.

The price was significantly lower than grade A cells from the well known sellers on this board so I thought I would take a gamble and I was looking forward to doing a review. I have the testing equipment.

The price is now more than double what I paid so I won’t buy anymore cells until the shipping cost comes back down.

Realistically, even if they had 90 % capacity I would have been happy as long as they were not bloated swollen used cells.

But they never arrived, all tracking expired and box I assume got lost somewhere.
I was happy the seller agreed and refunded my payment and I did not have to fight so I have to give the seller credit for that.

On July 6th, I ordered two time 4pcs 200Ah. Still waiting, vendor mentioned port congestion.

Hopefully you receive cells.

For me I ordered beginning of May and tracking stopped June 13 ( cleared customs for export) but no sign they ever left China.

Tracking links expired, no further updates available so I am not expecting anything to magically show up.

I will need to try again but I may wait until the shipping backlog get back closer to normal.

On Oct 4th, the 2 x 4 200Ah LiFePo4 batteries from MEIBrandauthorized Store arrived.
In the meantime I already checked the capacitance of 6 out of 8 cells. One cell (#1) I did two times. It had only 1.162V out of the box !! (the other 7 cells were around 3.0V), it was bloated and had a hand written number on it. It also had only 179AH. The other cells so far are in the range of 184 thru 188Ah although the nominal advertised figure was 200Ah.
I informed the MEIBrandauthorized Store about my test results and observation. I am asking for a replacement for the cell #1 which was obviously used (better missued), being bloated, deep discharged, low capacity and handwritten number on it. Furthermore, I requested a partial refund to compensate the lower capacity. So far, no agreement.
I keep you posted.

Here is the end of the story:
The seller, MEIBrandauthorized Store did not give in to my request. I open my first dispute on aliexpress and requested 150€ as refund and the seller agreed to it and aliexpress already transferred the money back to my paypal account.
I had paid 567€ für 8x LiFePo4 battery cells with 200Ah nominal capacitance. My measurement were in the range of 184 thru 188Ah, except the bloated cell with only 179Ah.
My plan is to acquire one or maybe two more cell(s) of the same type.

Meibrand authorized store is a joke. Nobody should ever buy from them. I also bought 4 200ah batteries from them back in June all batteries tested at 179 to 183. I also purchased 4 280 catl from jidian technology from alibaba. I just received those and they are all so bloated I can't even get the bus bars on. I wouldn't buy from them either.

Update on my project:
One battery of the eight batteries shipped from the store was significantly worse (only 179 Ah and bloated!) than the others (average 186,5 Ah).
So, I open a dispute and got a refund (150€) and ordered another cell from MEIBrandauthorized Store. Of course, this was risky.
Finally, I am lucky. The battery arrived a few days ago and it fits well with the others. It was not bloated and delivered 189 Ah!
So, my 8 pcs 24V is complete and I have almost 5 kWh Energy for less than 600€ (BMS, cables and circuit breaker not included).
Pending is how many cycles the batteries will make.
BR Herb

Hi all, I ordered batteries from this company (MEIBrandauthorized Store) too. Unfortunately it was before I had my EBC-A40L tester and now a year later I tested them and got less than 230Ah from what should have been 280 Ah. I'm pretty sure this battery didn't drop 50 plus Ah over one year of use and it explains why I have had problems with understanding why my output was less than it should have been. Complete rip off this company, Fraud to say the least. DO NOT BUY from them. I looked them up again and they have changed names now to "Battery Charger Brandauthorized Store" so be on the look out for them too.
